Mouse-controlled ring light at Quality Expo 2005
Mouse-controlled LED ring light debuts at Quality Expo Show 2005 in
Chicago
Chicago, Illinois -- April 21, 2005 -- A new mouse-controlled ring
light from Binary Works, Inc. was demonstrated at the Quality Expo Show in
Chicago, a three-day exhibition showcasing
the latest inspection, test and
measurement equipment, software and services
from 300 top suppliers. The ring light generated a lot
of excitement at the Dazor Manufacturing Corp. booth where the new ring light
was demonstrated with Dazor's SpeckFinder video microscope. The event was intended to test the waters for the unique ring
light, and it affirmed even the best of expectations. Shortly thereafter, Dazor
signed a multi-year deal with Binary Works for distribution rights.
The steerable LED ring light is mouse-controlled, allowing light to be directed at any
angle, and with fully adjustable intensity. Directionality is also fully
controllable, from omni-directional (360 degrees) to highly directional (9
degrees). Hands-free modes rotate the light direction automatically. It
works with ordinary PS-2 mice, USB mice (with PS-2 adapter), and wireless mice.
Dazor Manufacturing Corp. is a leading manufacturer of
quality task lighting and magnification products. Binary Works, Inc. is a
full service supplier of design, development and manufacturing services in the
industrial, scientific and medical fields.
